In 2007, the first Portuguese-produced Visiting Mr. Green opened in Porto. A production of Teatro Experimental Do Porto, Visitas ao Sr. Green starred Norberto Barroca and Ricardo Trepa.

The production was directed by Norberto Barroca and Clara Joana, with a set design by Mário Dias Garcia

Author Jeff Baron was a guest of the production for the opening in Porto.

Six years later, the actors reunited for a new production of Visitas ao Sr. Green in Cascais, directed by Ricardo Carriço.

In 2005, the Brazilian production of Visiting Mr. Green toured Portugal, with stops in Lisbon, Porto and Famalicão. Starring Paulo Autran and Dan Stulbach, the production was directed by Elias Andreato.
