running play in Israeli
history, with over 500
performances throughout the
country from 2001-2006.  It
won
Best Play and Best
Actor
(Yossi Graber) at the
Israeli Theatre Awards.  It
was directed by
Alon Ophir,
with a translation by
Ido
Ricklin
, and set and
costumes by
Eric Smith.

A special shortened school
version of
Visiting Mr.
Green
returned to Israel in
2015 in the
Nephesh
Theatre
production called
Mr. Green and Me, which is
touring schools t
hroughout
the country
.  It stars Albert
Cohen
as Mr. Green, and
either
Shoham Sheiner or
Nadav Laor as Ross, and
was translated by
Beatriz
Hal
and directed by Howard
Rypp
.  Albert Cohen won the
ASSITEJ Best Actor Award.
